When Will Molly Tea Open in Austin?
According to the franchisee, Hui Chen, the Austin store is expected to open around late November or early December 2026. Chen shared the timeline with The Dallas Morning News in August, during the run-up to the Carrollton opening.

Plano and Frisco: What’s Next in North Texas
Plano has the most concrete details of the upcoming stores. “Coming soon” signage went up earlier this year at the corner of Parker Road and US 75, and the shop is slated for 3302 N. Central Expressway, Suite 210.
The timing is less clear. One report from August said Chen planned to open Austin and Plano before the end of the year, while another quoted spring 2027 for Plano. Until Molly Tea confirms a date, it’s safest to expect Plano sometime between late 2026 and spring 2027.
Frisco is planned for around spring 2027. No address has been shared yet.

Molly Tea’s first Texas store opened in February 2026 in Houston’s Chinatown at 9889 Bellaire Blvd, Suite D226. It was the start of Chen’s Texas rollout.
Molly Tea Carrollton (First in DFW)
The Carrollton store opened in mid-August 2026 at 2540 Old Denton Road, #122, inside Carrollton Town Center. It’s Molly Tea’s first Dallas-Fort Worth location.
