Molly Tea Coming Soon: Every New US Store Opening Through Spring 2027

Molly Tea’s US expansion is picking up speed this fall. The jasmine tea chain opens a new store near Seattle tomorrow, October 13, just signed a 10-year lease in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and has at least six more US locations in the pipeline through spring 2027.

We checked every upcoming store against official mall pages, real estate filings and local reports. Here’s what’s confirmed, what’s expected, and what’s still only a rumor, as of October 12, 2026.

Why This Matters

Molly Tea now has more than 25 US stores, but they’re spread unevenly, and many big cities still don’t have one. If you’ve been waiting for Molly Tea near you, this list shows where it’s headed next and how solid each plan really is. We’ve marked every store by how confirmed it is, so you know when to start planning a visit.

Lease Signed: Coming This Fall

Williamsburg, Brooklyn (NY)

Address: 193 Bedford Ave
Expected: Fall 2026

On September 30, Molly Tea signed a 10-year lease for a roughly 1,350 sq ft space on Bedford Avenue, according to a report on the deal from the landlord’s brokers. The store has about 850 sq ft on the ground floor and 500 sq ft on the lower level. The space was previously home to Chocolate World.

No exact opening date has been announced yet. We first covered this store in Molly Tea’s new Williamsburg and Union Square stores.

In Preparation: Date Not Announced

Union Square, Manhattan (NY)

Address: 862 Broadway

According to the same Williamsburg lease report, Molly Tea is also preparing to open near Union Square. No timeline has been shared.

These two stores matter for New York fans: the original NYC Molly Tea shops are now caught in a legal dispute and trade as “? Tea.” Williamsburg and Union Square would bring the official Molly Tea name back to the city. We explain the dispute in why NYC Molly Tea stores became “? Tea”.

Texas: Three More Stores Planned

Molly Tea’s Texas franchisee, Hui Chen, has two stores open (Houston Chinatown and Carrollton) and says the goal is 20 Texas stores within two years. The next three:

Austin (TX)

Expected: Late November to early December 2026
The franchisee shared this timeline in August. The address hasn’t been announced.

Plano (TX)

Address: 3302 N. Central Expressway, Suite 210 (Parker Rd and US 75)
Expected: Late 2026 to spring 2027
“Coming soon” signage went up earlier this year. Reports differ on timing: one said before the end of 2026, another said spring 2027.

Frisco (TX)

Expected: Around spring 2027
No address yet.

Unconfirmed: Watch This Space

Honolulu, Ala Moana Center (HI)

In April, Molly Tea was announced for Ala Moana Center with a July debut. By August, a local report said the store was expected in October, on Mall Level 2 of the Mauka Wing. We haven’t found an official opening date or announcement yet.

Buckhead, Atlanta (GA)

In March, the owner of Molly Tea’s Atlanta-area stores in Doraville and Duluth said he was targeting Lenox Square in Buckhead for a third location later this year. There’s been no confirmed lease or date since.

What’s Not on This List (and Why)

• Upper West Side, NYC (2857 Broadway): This store opened in April near Columbia University, but it’s one of the New York shops now trading as “? Tea.”
• Rumors without a source: We only list stores backed by a mall announcement, real estate report, or a named owner or franchisee.
